When you buy property in a planned community, you aren't just buying a piece of land, you are buying into the concept of that community. Horseman's Ranch was built to be an organized community specifically designed for people who love horses and the Western way of life. When you bought your property at Horseman’s Ranch, incorporated in the deed to your property was the condition that you would agree to honor the rules and regulations of the Gainesville Horseman’s Ranch Owners Association (GHROA). The GHROA provides structure for the operation and management of the community and membership includes certain mandatory obligations, financial responsibilities and a commitment to abide by the use restrictions and rules of the association. Here you will find a set of resources to help you understand and comply with those obligations so you get the most out of your experience and investment at Horseman's Ranch.

ARC Submission 

​Use this form to request approval for construction, tree removal and other architectural changes that require approval from the ARC. For more information, see our CCRs. You can contact the ARC via email at

Clubhouse Rental Request

Complete the Clubhouse Rental Request and return it to the Secretary and the Chair of the Common Area Committee no less than 5 days prior to your event.This gives the board enough time to notify the community of our event so others can make plans to not use the Clubhouse while you are holding your event. 

RV Hook Up Rental Request

Use the RV Hook Up Rental Request to reserve one of the three Hook Ups adjacent to the Clubhouse. 

Change of Address

You are required to keep a current mailing and email address on file with the GHROA board of directors. Please use this form to notify the Board of any changes. 

Arena Reservation Request

If you would like to reserve the Arena for a special purpose, please complete and submit this form to a member of the arena committee at least 5 days prior to the date of use, that way the Board can process your request and notify the community. 

Alternative Payment Plan

GHROA Annual Assessments are due within 30 days of the invoice - which is typically sent in January. If you are unable to pay the entire amount at that time, you can take advantage of the Alternative Payment Plan on file with Cooke County. Take note that it requires a written request to the Board requesting use of an alternate payment plan.  Otherwise, your Annual Assessment will be due in January.
